Reliability Inspection & Service

§         Check overall appearance of equipment & controls (leaks, loose wires, debris, etc.)

§         Check all belts & hoses (replacement belts & hoses extra)

§         Replace fuel filter (if applicable)

§         Replace lubricating oil & filter

§         Check coolant level & antifreeze (replace as needed)

§         Check battery charging voltage systems

§         Check battery electrolyte level & specific gravity

Operating Inspection & Adjustments

§      Check day tank pump & level of fuel (if equipped)

§      Check output voltage & frequency

§      Power outage test (with customer approval)

§      Checks for leaks – oil, coolant, and fuel

§      Test all emergency shutdown devices

§      Adjust engine control PCB

§      Check operation of cooling & air movement

§      Adjust & calibrate governor

§      Adjust & calibrate circuit boards in generator and Automatic Transfer Switch
